The GOR 17% of DEG is providing as much return as we are getting from Gruyere. During the investor presentation there was a question about DEG and the response was (if i heard right) that DEG are not interested in a merger or such. Also that DEG will be very big and that it is very likely that it will be acquired by one of the majors.
GOR's stake in DEG is today valued at about $600 million. Once the approvals are all in place the bids will come...............and they will start at about $5 billion IMHO. Valuing GOR's stake at about $1 billion.
What would GOR do with that $1 billion???.
