Kiwi, if you are such a brilliant investigative journalist why can you not simply add quotation marks around the words that are not yours, so we can read what you have written and what others have written and easily tell them apart? Its very bloody simple. Why can't you post links to the sources so we can verify what you have posted?

In the absence of these basic posting techniques I regard what you have obviously spent quite a lot of time and effort on to be almost useless.

Also, if you are basing some of your information on 'journalism' emanating from South Africa (or anywhere else for that matter) then sometimes you are going to come unstuck. We have already seen that this BS 'jornalist' guy is totally lacking in objectivity. Journalism requires at least the appearance of objectivity, so in my eyes he is a blogger not a journalist.

Can you please post a credible link, from anyone except a notoriously biased blogger, that drilling was stopped on Nooitverwacht and Eerste Geluk for the period that you mention? All the evidence I can see you have posted is this:
"While waiting for a response they launched proceedings to interdict Genorah from proceeding with prospecting operations on the farms on 22 March 2007." ... and it supposedly came "from the ruling." What ruling? What court case? What document? Where is the link for us? How does one make the rather large leap from "launched proceedings to interdict Genorah from proceeding with prospecting operations" to 'drilling/prospecting being stopped'?

Meanwhile the company was putting out updates, which you have quoted yourself, indicating they were still drilling. Maybe you can please send this off to ASIC, because I would also like to get to the bottom of it, since I'm dead sure that a company director knowingly making false statements in ASX releases is a criminal act!

(But I will try and keep an open mind on this matter and I am happy to be proven wrong if you can provide some proper evidence to substantiate your case. ASIC will require evidence as well.)

Sometimes I shake my head when I read the level of posting here on HotWhopper. ASIC are going to have a good old laugh when they receive this stuff, immediately prior to filing it under WPB.

P.S. I am not shooting the messenger, I am shooting the methods.
