Although my enthusiasm for this stock has seriously waned over the years your point about why it hasn't been snapped up or a substantial holder being on the registry intrigues me as I am of a similar view.
However, the fact that Ewen is on board (yes I acknowledge some imply he just needed a job after Westpac), and with his credentials, he would not be one to just hand over equity in the company lightly without some real beneficial ownership, not just implied or promised, but a stake attached with funds to develop and drive the strategy further mainstream.
The fact that it is taking much much longer (locking in contracts or partners) than I had anticipated could mean he is not satisfied with terms and conditions offered to date, but that is speculation on my behalf.
