    it's a connected world

if a fly shits on a chip in Taiwan, and they have to bring in the cleaners - it goes right though the supply chain and as it corrects everywhere - cost is incurred

the fly shit catastrophe travels to america then onto importers, wholesalers, retailers and then us

if we're in business and we use the machine that cost more because of the fly shit ripples - we then pass that on to all and sundry..

look at what happens with a chip shortage - omg, there's crap all over the planet that - most people wouldn't have a clue that it's why their 20 year old banger is worth more than they thought it ever was

philosophically and practically - it's why world events are really of interest to all of us - even if we don't realise it

the point I guess is that we are really practically dependent on so many links in so many chains --

like if the Dutch got a hole in the wrong dyke and flooded their chip making machine factory -

then, we're all totally buggered - at least for a while.

It's a major reason why I just don't understand people who say - oh, those globalists

well, gees ------- we should ALL be globalists - which means that we should ALL take global affairs into consideration - why?

because we're all connected - one thing shits it's pants - the currencies are up down or sideways, which means metals are this or that, markets are this or that - or we end up sending military vehicles, then guns then soldiers - and back in the shit we go

    we ARE global
