freeass (or anybody else still interested in former GOP respectively FLOW ENERGY now).
A diligent poster on the PCL thread has found an article in today's "Daily Nation" (Kenyan newspaper), from which I quote the headline and the first three paragraphs:
    Quote:
ANXIETY SURROUNDS SEARCH FOR OIL AND GAS IN POVERTY-RIDDEN REGION
High expectations and anxiety have gripped residents of Tana Delta and Lamu districts following reports that the region could have deposits of oil and gas.
Recent exploration for oil and gas by international companies in the two districts have heightened expectations
that the delta and the Lamu archipelago could yield positive fruits.
According to the National Environment Management Authority (Nema) and some conservation groups, the Australian firm Flow Energy was granted license to prospect on Block L6, which cuts across the two districts.
    End of quote
So, there seems to be some real ACTION in the making??!! Would be great to hear what Flow Energy's intention exactly are. As a minnow (together with PCL which is another minnow) but the majority holder in L6, they must be looking for a big partner to farm-into the obvious opportunity of the L6 field (either on-shore or off-shore)?

Any comments by anybody managing to FIND OUT what is going on at FLOW ENERGY would naturally be most welcome!
