Having the option to do it, is not the same as doing it... This could be to have in hand if they want to make an expensive expansion. Obviously the SH would be less that happy if it was to restore some perks back to senior management. I think they would be upset either way, but some reasons are more palatable than others. I think it is a very dangerous line they walk should they decide to exercise that option.
