Investors in NC6 are predominately focussed on the cash position, and getting a commercial deal over the line with a funding component that ensures the ongoing viability of the enterprise. And why wouldn't we be, without it Nanollose is a dead duck !
To that end, Wayne and the directors feel confident enough to state in the 4C that they feel such a deal will be forthcoming in the next 6 weeks, and that they will tip into the kitty in the meantime if required.
So, I'm going to take that on face value for the moment, and look at the possibilities within the structure of the terms sheet of the JV to build a robust customer list for the new entity.
Key to the announced terms sheet was a collaboration between Paradise and Nanollose to take Nullabor Fibre to the market.
Leading the way for Paradise Textiles, and the new JV, is Lewis Shuler, Head of Innovation and Advanced Manufacturing at Paradise Textiles.
Lewis is front and centre of promoting Nullabor to the clients of Paradise/Alpine ( and now the JV, as per above ).
Lewis recently presented at the Textile Exchange Annual Conference - how sustainability standards and new laws are driving positive change in material choices.
This presentation was "liked" by key individuals in these target clients that are driving change.
Lewis is extremely well networked and connected, and is an incredible ambassador to have on the Nanollose/Paradise JV.

Complete and utter speculation - but my bet is on Under Armour to be the first brand using Nullabor !
