Tradersam, In my experience when the astro guys are right they are REALLY right.....but very often they are wrong. In 1987 astro trader Arch Crawford advised his followers out of the market on the very day the market peaked before the famous crash and this was all based on his planetary reading....but then again he predicted world economies as we know them would end this year starting in August (didn't happen). I followed astro trader Larry Pesavento for a while earlier this year. He was very adament that April 26th would be a significant market top....it was and I was impressed....but again he has made some dud calls since.

W D Gann is probably the most famous astrotrader and you could read up on his techniques if you are interested.....Personally I find the simplier charting techniques of chart patterns, moving averages and fibonacci to be the most reliable but I never totally dismiss astro stuff. That said I know there are some well respected posters on HC who consider astro stuff as complete bunkum....so I guess to each his own. Robbbb is the guy on HC who has the right idea IMO. He uses mostly the simple reliable charting techniques but is also not afraid to introduce a little Gann analysis here and there when it is called for.....although I doubt Robbbb would do any stargazing as such.

I am always happy to have a read of yogis stuff but always make my own decisions based on a whole lot of different FA and TA factors that I have come to trust over the years. IMO every opinion is valuable.
