I was debating whether to write this post because I don't want to be seen as a party pooper. I hope I don't come accross that way.

As you are probably aware Carnarvon, which is south-west of Nullagine recieved large amounts of rain over the last week which caused major flooding. On the whole, most of the inland area around Nullagine escaped the worst of the down pour. But it does highlight how vulnerable BCI is at the moment. For the NJV to maintain it's scheduele it's critical for continuing fine weather for the next six weeks. Or until the Haul road is bitumened. If there's localised flooding around Nullagine, it could postpone the NJV's timelines considerably.

If the first train departs in December well that is great news. Don't get me wrong. But I'm jittery at the moment about the weather. I'm extremely excited about BCI's prospects over the next couple of months ... but also a little apprehensive I'm afraid.
