Hi guys - here is another installment from our local newspaper the South Burnett Times.
I actually had 3 stories typed onto a document & ready to post since Sunday afternoon. However, when I copied the documents & pasted them to Hotcopper all inverted commas, question marks, dashes, etc, appeared as weird symbols. I have tried typing the stories to various other documents & then copy & pasteing but always the same result. Anyway, I shall try typing directly onto HC but I will only type up 1 story as a trial to see what happens.

COUGAR VOWS TO REOPEN UCG PLANT
Cougar Emergy claims it is strongly committed to achieving the re-commencement of operations at its flagship Kingaroy Underground coal Gasification (UCG) power project.
Chairman Malcolm McAully told shareholders that the company achieved significant milestones in the past financial year as it continued to advance the world's best proven UCG technology at its flagship Queensland project.
"It is the first step towards genuine commercialisation of UCG in Australia," he said.
Mr McAully said these milestones - including the successful construction and commissioning of the UCG trial plant a Kingaroy - were followed by a most disappointing and protracted struggle to manage the consequences of a decision by the Queensland Government to shut down our Kingaroy UCG plant operations.
"Since the shutdown of the Kingaroy pilot plant, the company has been working with the Queensland Government's Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) to satisfy the requirements of environmental evaluation notices," he said.
"While this work continues, the company is hopeful that a resolution be found, particularly in light of recent safe groundwater test results.
"DERM is expected to announce a decision on the company's environmental reports in January 2011.
