Kingaroy groundwater is anything but pure, naturally ... it is well known to be too saline even for stock water ... what a joke.

UCG doesn't use millions of litres of groundwater ... there is some very localised interface at the perimeter of the gasification chamber ... some water gets consumed as steam but is condensed at the surface and I understand recycled back through the injection well.

CSG on the other hand drains probably billions, not millions, of litres of groundwater from CSG lease areas.
