More high-grade results coming very soon from the drilling program.In diagram 1 (below) Rox is targeting stopes with high-grade ore but in an area with a history of rock instability.
Because of the risk of collapse remnants were left unmined,
60 years of modern mining methods improvements have negated the risks;
These Stope remnants will add more gold.
Being next to existing UG infrastructure and relatively shallow, it will be low AISC high-margin gold that will be included in the mining plan.
Diagram 2 shows the remaining targets at United North.
United North is fast becoming a major exploration focus.
Rox has projected the continuation of the gold veins but Youanmi gold veins change dramatically in true width and grade, with grade often increasing at depth.
Some of the highest-grade gold was found right at the bottom of the main Youanmi pit.
Note that the most exciting exploration is yet to come in a future drilling campaign.
It is the undrilled corridor between Paddy’s and Pollard at depth.
This glaring oversight was mentioned in the authoritative 2006 Ravensgate review of Youanmi.
The potential at this location is blue sky, but it’s deep DD, so expensive.
Rox will complete the hole when they have more cash via a share issue of selling Fisher Gold/ Eureka.
