8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well

But the trouble is on this forum,people defending the orthodox position and understanding of what denotes christian doctrine ,this is the a perfect example,Dbt9 is talking old covenant thinking in regards to the law of God,Jesus wants us to have a new covenant understanding of the law of God.
Old covenant thinking =sin and death
New covenant thinking = mercy and life
With a trinitarian understanding of God
Its impossible to come to the correct understanding,of the relationship between the old and new covenants and the law of God
