most of the electorate are simpletons, and should not be allowed to vote - indeed, half of the electorate have below average intelligence. the pollies know this, and that is why they can swap and change.

gillard had worked out,that electorally, a ets would be a bad thing - so she gets rudd to dump it - and then confirms this, by stating that there will be no carbon tax/ all of a sudden gillard needs the greens to get into power - and all immediately, there seem to be compelling reasons to have a carbon tax.

for the good of the country, it would have been better, that the liberals had preferenced the labs, instead of the greenie.
