I suppose the problem with that is we're only seeing one side of the story right? We're seeing shorts sold but not shorts covered. Might have been 267k shorted and 500k covered for all we know right. Plus by reading the blurb on that short positions short table post I linked to, sounds like all short selling is self-reported, so I suppose we can never really know the whole story.
