I'm not surprised.
They're engineers, first and foremost. They eat, breathe and sleep engineering.
To them whatever dividends do is simply an outworking of doing good engineering, so talking about dividends doesn't occupy too high a position in their list of priorities.
On the positive side, it means that cost of the "LYL-Latina" option is only half a year's dividend, not a full-year's.
