Rubio and Waltz reported as picks for National Security Adviser and Secretary of State respectively. Both are as hard China Hawks as exist in the Republican party. Trade war is looking almost certain. We just have to get through the next couple months of the shorter field day. From memory Waltz said the US needs to urgently prepare for war with China.
