Ann: Discovery Grows With Strong Cu-Au-PGM Results at Reef 1, page-17

Here's my take:
For starters, the market for commodity stocks isn't exactly on fire at the moment.
Secondly, the grade seems to be getting better at depth which is great, however it's not clear (at least to me) about mineralisation prior to getting to that depth which could/should be economic.
Next up, the market is always searching for excitement & this isn't exciting. It's not a bonanza grade or high grade pod; for the most, it's more of the same. This, at least from a marketing perspective, is a major plus & a major minus.
In many respects, it's boring (show me another company with a 98% strike rate on its drill hits), yet this greatly derisks the exploration, which is a major plus.
Funnily enough, while writing this, I checked our previous drilling.
First assays (RC), of 3/13 holes at Crius (Reef 1) were released on 13/5.
The stock closed that day down 8.3% on 5.4m vol. The previous day vol was 390k.
Then, we all remember what happened on 20/6 with the Discovery announcement.with the release of an additional 14 holes from Reef 1 & Reef 2.
The grades were similar, yet the market reacted vastly differently.
The difference between now & then is that I expect further assays from here on in every couple of weeks for the foreseeable future.
Will history repeat? Time will tell.
However, the fact is that on the back of today's assays, this story has only gotten better, even if the price is saying otherwise.
I'll leave you with this thought.
I stated earlier that there's no real excitement with the reefs; however don't forget Cronus.
Cronus is a different beast altogether from the reefs.
In the report of 22/10 it shows 1 DD put into Cronus, which will be 1 of the 2 EIS co-funded holes.
That should be a deep mofo to 500-600m.
If the exploration gods are with us on that one, we could see TM1 trading at 20c overnight.
It's an outlier, yet entirely possible.
