From the transactions itself, it's hard to prove. But these kinds of things do probably happen.
Just imagine if they didn't tell Platinum, whatever heat they're feeling from retailers, they'd feel from Platinum.

    Nevertheless, let's do the math:
From 17 September - 15 October Platinum recouped $832,383.61 by selling 7,302,211 PER shares.
That is an average sell price of $0.114 per share.
On 21 October they paid $1,000,000 for 12,500,000 PER shares.
That is an average purchase price of $0.08 per share (as we all know).

The Net Result for Platinum is basically:

Platinum has increased their holdings by $167,616.39 for an extra 5,197,789 PER shares.
All in all, that is equivalent to purchasing an additional 5,197,789 PER shares at $0.032 per share.
This suggests confidence in PER as we head to December, but it's also at a good price point.

This is just the mathematics (the facts of what happened between 17 Sept to 21 Oct).
We can't prove whether there has been any wink winks behind closed doors but yes, it seems to be a good bit of business regardless.

Considering things now from the company's perspective as a whole, let us consider the following:
    - We have managed to get the cash we need and there will be relative stability as we head into a pivotal time in our history.
I.e. Directors get a smooth and strong support in the AGM from Platinum.
    - Directors get a piece of the pie, which is not all bad for alignment purposes.
    - The company gets $15m in the kitty for future negotiations and to keep the lights on. Let's appreciate the fact that for management, every time the cash runs down, they're under pressure. So this gives them breathing room to work for another year or so.

Final note: Whilst Platinum seemed to have benefited in all of this, they have also undergone some dilution.
They stand to benefit greatly or lose greatly just like the rest of us. The stakes are high for them, but so also for the rest of us holders.
TLDR: Platinum is on the same boat as the rest of us. Hard to prove how, but they did seem to get a carrot for the CR. On the flip side, cornerstone investors always get some kind of carrot because they've also got a little bit more on the line.

    Let's see how we go.
Platinum's all set, and so am I .
