JV, I see you've fallen victim the to the HAS "highest NdPr to TREO" nonsense, which fails to recognise they have just about the lowest ore to TREO ratio of any major RE project.Let's make it simple.
HAS have an ore to TREO grade of only 0.9%. So, at their "highest NdPr to TREO" ratio of 36% NdPr gives them 0.33% NdPr in ore. To produce 3,600tonnes of NdPr, they need to mine at least 1.09million tonnes of ore (ignoring overburden, recoveries etc).
Now consider LYC. They have an ore to TREO grade of 8.1% (nine times higher than HAS). At 23% NdPr, it gives them 1.86% NdPr in ore. To produce 3,600tonnes of NdPr, they need to mine only 193,000 tonnes of ore (ignoring overburden etc), giving substantially better economics.
