I had a look in detail at these new scanners since you seemed very assured of them based off one Ann by telix flotsam.
im unsure why you're so convinced that these new scanners will level the playing field? Reading up about the uExplorer, the main thing it does it increases the sensitivity of resolution for less radiation. Another major selling point is that it effectively decreases time of scan from 40m to 10m.
None of the Ann that I looked through has actually said that it'll make all diagnostic agents pick up lesions that it may not have had uptake in the lesion. It may allow a lesion be picked up due to the ability to decrease the noise around signal and allow for better resolution. However, if the smaller lesions ie <4mm lesions don't have uptake from F18/GA68, it doesn't mean these new scanners will show the avidity of it. All it does is increase the resolution of the scanner. This means cu64 is still better irrespective of scanner tech.
