This goes against my normal posting principles but I felt like 'How's that ice melt going' was too good an opportunity to pass up. Currently wrapping up a holiday in Iceland and I can tell you it's no joke. We did a couple of glacier walks at the rate they are accelerating in melting is wild. It's also a driving factor behind the need for lithium so I'm not too sure why you would drive down a motivating social factor which plays a part in your investment (in hindsight I see you're not a holder). Calling Obama a communist is either just a flaming statement to wind people up or genuinely shows ignorance into how societies work. A lot of his direction was guided by looking at countries with better quality of life (Australia included...) and a common tactic by political parties is to fool the uninformed into thinking that the delayed successes of the previous party were there own. It's a dangerous trap to fall into as it encourages political parties to aspire to targets achievable only within their term length which are often low impact or poorly thought out. While politics can certainly sway markets it seems that emotional sentiment rather than logical deduction is swinging a heavy hammer here and it's probably going to drive this thread into the waste bin. While I think the current CIC is a bit of a toss, he and his cabinet did do some good over their previous term but I would caution you against putting all your faith in him as we (Aus) can be cut from the VIP list very quickly. America doesn't really owe us anything, particular from the eyes of capitalism. I think musk getting into a big seat is probably going to work in our favour

With all that being said, I feel like half of these posts are getting emotionally political, and while it may weigh into the share price somewhat maybe it's a good idea to try and stay impartial. Very hypocritical after my rant but just putting it out there. Maybe we need a seperate thread for political posting and we can keep this one mostly about hard facts and RDN related topics?

That's all I'll say on the topic of politics.
