Bring up a 3 year chart and you will see that any time in the preceding 3 years, the price of CLG has been higher than the T/O offer. (By quite a significant margin.) I am guessing that this is just another dud pick from the WAM stable. Your suggestions of small caps and takeovers is relevant but has traditionally been the domain of the WMI fund…..but even that isn’t performing very well ATM !
