It might be worth a punt once the market has finished axing the stock today. I think that will depend on their cash position and the ability to attract another partner to complete another well down the track. It would have been very helpful if they even got a smell of gas. once again, the real money is in the speculation and not the result with oil and gas wells. meo and mmr are more proof of just how difficult this game is, even with all the data, gas seeps, onshore wells etc. I was hoping this well worked since its good for the market and punters. The MEO melt down started the sell off in the stock as people began to understand what would happen if the well did not come in. I am sure there will be folk thinking they can claim a tax loss here as well. I am not sure you can given you did not pay tax on the profits with this structure. good luck. I guess the company will say something else about this well in due course.dyor.
