OK - Wooduk,
Gold around the Kalgoorlie region is predominantly hosted in rocks with a similar chemistry to dolerite. It is the relevance of this particular rock type as a host to other known deposits that makes it significant here.
Uranium has no bearing on the situation in this instance.
I'm not au Fait with the Treasure Island geology on an intimate scale, so the Quartz reefs that are hosting the fantastic rockchip grades may not be actually be hosted by the dolerite, but they are certainly in the right area and no-one could argue with the numbers.
