Personally it interesting all these ‘I don’t trust WDS…’
From working in the petroleum industry (not exploration), I don’t get that vibe at all.
Having a partner that is located in same country and who has to abide by the same laws, I think is a bonus.
WDS walked in and put the money down, and even did a larger area… to be critical at this stage is a bit rude imho..
Exxon, Shell etc all play hard ball.. WDS would love to be an early mover in major elephant country.. it opens up options and puts them in front of the big guys..
They will want success and appear to have played with a straight bat.
