Tell you something Oak, Silicon 28 could end up being as big as enriched U235?

Some time ago I tried telling someone that ZSS is made up of only Si28 that is enriched to 99.9998 from memory, this person insisted that it will use si29 as well, seeing as how it is also a zero spin isotope, which I don't doubt it has a spin as well, but the ZSS Silex is making consist for the main made up of mostly Si28 because, it is mathematically impossible to get to that purity if it had Si29 in it.
But I also said that is may end up being used in normal transistor technology because of heat dissipation, which was causing problems with moore's law which relates to how many transistor can be packed into a certain area!
So we get possibly two things from ZSS not just one from only one platform.

And as MG said, they have a number of similar targets to research into besides U235, ZSS, and medical Isotopes as well, this is platform technology at it's best and who,s to say they again don't get more than one application from the same platform (similar to ZSS) which requires only minor changes to the technology to give you another platform, which by the way changes all the time, for instance I think they now use a different laser.

Guess what! they are now doing this in two forms
1 / A gas form of enriched Si28 which can be used in vapor disposition and I believe virtual silicon whose I/P belongs to IQE and guess how some of the sale of translucent technology was made? shares in IQE which Silex still own.
2/ a solid form where it can be used for MBE for (templates the size of a 50 cent coin) another area where IQE has certain patents as well.
But here is the kicker- it is 150% better at dissipating heat, so bring it on, you just increased moore's law dramatically

And just something else to consider, this technology lends itself to PHOTONICS so we may end up with even better Lasers down the track as well! Isn't this rabbit hole something to be wondrous about.
