Really the last three months have been amazing. Having said that the previous four were SHOCKING, with many stocks way oversold, almost to the point of silliness with many trading below cash/asset backing.
The last four months has seen a bull market recovery, it has NOT been a time to sit on the sidelines!! However caution is wise from here on in as all bull runs need to have a correction. I think there is a lot more bullish activity left in this market though, and expect January/Feb to be good months ... I look to be more caution around mid-Feb.
