European markets all up overnight - though the French market was very muted.
The FTSE rose 29 points (.36%), the DAX rose 82 points (.43%) and the CAC rose just 2 points (.03%).
BoE commented that interest rates will be cut "gradually" with inflation up in the last quarter and services inflation still holding at 5% due to wage growth.
In the US, the DOW rose 440 points (.97%), the NBI rose 60 points (1.34%), the NASDAQ Composite rose 51 points (.27%) and the Russell small cap index rose 35 points (1.47%).
US markets liked the Trump pick of Scott Bessent as treasury secretary - seen as the "investors favourite". Markets responded positively.
US PCE data comes out on Wednesday.
Of note are the falls in commodities and other investment areas.
US Treasury 10 year bond yield fell to 4.269%
Oil prices fell - Brent crude at US$72.58 per barrel.
Precious metal prices tumbled - Gold sitting at US$2,626 per oz.
BITCOIN also fell to US$94,970. BITCOIN has fallen from above US$100k in two days.
