Reminds me of apartheid South Africa. White supremacy. Any black that dared raise their voice was shot down, literally or metaphorically. Those were the good old days, us whites were the bosses and the other races were the slaves. Votes for us, no votes for anyone whose skin was a little dark, or Asian for that matter.
Same in Australia, we ruled over the aborigines, they could not vote, we took their children to turn them into proper citizens. All those latte sipping liberals changed everything. The black man no longer gives up his seat when I get on a bus and he earns the same as me. Where did we go wrong?
And did people demonise white people and say "all whites are racist"? Of course not, because they realised that white South Africans were extremists and that our racist attitudes to indigenous Australians was wrong. Yet people (many on HC) say that we should demonise muslims because of a extremist minority.
The irony is that the same people that would have supported the apartheid regime and discrimination against indigenous Australian are the same ones that claim that Islam is a terrorist religion.
