I don't like this; I can see how it divides the room and Board members walk out. When Sezzle went from the ASX to the NASDAQ they were already trading around the $22 mark, and the transition could be performed on a 1:1 basis. For OVT to consider this at their current share price they would have to consolidate 160 - 200:1 to meet the minimum price listing. Thats like 1 Mill shares in OVT and then ending up with Circa 5,000. That erodes too much compounding value for the opportunity. I'd rather hit $2.32 on the ASX then have our NASDAQ listing go to $464.
I would much rather OVT remain single listing and follow Z1P's path who considered going to the NASDAQ back in 2021 but after due diligence did not follow through. After all, Z1P has 1.3B SOI and SEZL only has 1.9M SOI.
OVT has 2B SOI. We have the Z1P staff so let's follow the Z1P path.
We can spend money on investigating duel listing later when we are much closer to the $4 parity levels for the NASDAQ. By all means invest the business in the US market, save the NASDAQ for later.
