freewill, you have brought up the racist issue when in fact this is not a racist issue. many cultures throughout history have been brutalized and enslaved not just blacks. look at the history of scotland and ireland as 2 examples. and keep going back in time all the way to babylon. it's been a recuring theme all through history. so we are not talking of the rights or wrongs of past generations.
what we are in fact discussing is the right of the minority to enter another mans country and to dictate policies, that in effect belong to the failed system that the so called minorities have just left. in effect if it didn't work in your country of origin, and you left to find a better life in another country. why then would you want to change your new adopted country to be like the country you just left. it defies logic. unless ulterior motives are at play.
not all muslims are thugs, dope dealers or terrorists. but i for one would like to see condemnation of these fundamentalist half wits, from the so called main stream muslims. openly condeming the practices that are abhorehent to western values and morals. and before you start with "ohh. but the west did this, and christians did that". they came to western, christain countries. they knew what we were before they got here.
and i know for a fact that if we went to their countries, the countries they were in such a hurry to leave. we wouldn't be able to do 2% of what they do here. imagine holding a sign with similar sentiments as the above pictures depict, directed at islam in any middle eastern country. they would kill you in a second. your head would be off with a serated blade and posted on you tube. for the entire world to see.
as i have stated previously i don't care who comes here or what colour they are. but on arriving abide by the rules of the country. respect the people who have allowed you a new start in life. practice what ever religion you want but don't let your beliefs or religios practices interfere with the main stream beliefs of the country you are in.
if your not allowed to wear a crash helmet in a bank, then a muslim woman should not be allowed to enter said bank in a burka. if that is against your beliefs by all means leave, go back to your freedoms in your country of origin. and before leaving make sure you cancel that dole check.
it comes down to commonsense. not racism or intolerance, just commonsense and a little bit of respect.
