You don't raise a full ask $10M from Sophs/Funds in a very short space of time based on fluff chasing a commodity not at the top of its cycle. It just doesn't happen. Raiden did raise this $10M.
There is way more to this.
Particularly with non-event short positioning. Normally there would be a hedge taken out, or those newly acquired shares are used to create a fresh short position. Didn't happen.
I think a lot of cards are being held very close to the chest.
