Doctor script required in Australia. Chemists here don't normally stock Relenza, so you might have to wait a day or two, depending where you live, to pick it up. If you already have the flu and it took 24 hours to see your doctor, another 24 hours would put you right on the 48 hour limit for more effective results. You will need to know if you want relenza to help prevent flu complications or to treat an existing flu, as there are two different dose levels for the chemist instructions. These things should be discussed with your doctor.

The delay could be enough justification to order and pay for some relenza packs for storage at a local chemist, and to also have a couple of packs at home ready for use.

These procedure might be most appropriate for those with an elevated risk profile who have elected to not have the vaccine, as in my case.
