@sneef Loving all your posts over the past 3-4 years. The dedication for all your research that presents facts along with some hope, ambition & wishful thinking.
Shout out to Treba also: Looking after the crew and presents more structured facts to pull us in line when we could be wrong or pushing the mark with ambition.
My reason they want to have 30m to qualify is Splitit don’t need to offer it to your local shop down the road. Splitit targets the likes of Ingenico, so the merchant offers it as a software option/smart terminal. This means we have the ability to reach the boutique shop on the corner within your neighborhood, as long as you have Visa or Mastercard.
Other Merchant Eftpos companies will eventually follow. Tabby no different to reach these types of online companies along with the typical bricks & mortar, offer it as a service. Splitit backend.
We are a software provider which is white label as you know. This means the likes of Big W or Harvey Norman can offer their own BNPL option with their logo & payment options included. Splitit backend. (Direct if met the criteria) (Ingenico Eftpos terminal). (Others means possible in the future being Apple Pay, google wallet)

Split (or shops quirky name payment plan)
Split:
Choose number of weeks/months (Differ from store to store with terms & conditions).
See total per week or month.
Accept and tap/enter card. Done.
If ever it was Apple Pay or Google Wallet. This would be in the wallet itself no matter who you shop with.
Go to wallet. (Select their Split option)
Enter in total amount.
Select the month or weekly debit.
Accept and it will pre-authorize that total amount for you to tap on a terminal. (Numbers don’t match it won’t approve transaction).
Debits from total amount will be deducted as per agreed split plan.
Pre-Authorization limits increase overtime the more it’s used, and the payments come out on time.
@jasper $0.80-$1.20
I have believed in this for the past 4-5 years and I think it will be bigger than you could imagine. I’m not worried about the share price however Splitit as a whole will have very high trajectory in the next few years. I know this has been said for a while, but the true inflection point is on its way.
This is not financial advice and above is my thoughts and wishful thinking in which case I could be wrong.
