Digging deep there on the basis that ZIP last year recorded earnings of 1 cent per share (not good for a $3.35 SP) after the magical accounting trick which gave them the legitimate right to say the company made a profit. No question that once Klarna stages what is probably going to be one of the largest lisitngs of the year in an environment starving of them (which will make them go crazy), then the whole playing field will make quick and very big changes, just like the first incarnation when they went for growth - they will do it again. Some fingers are going to be burned again, just as they were last time
If ZIP continues on its own it will have to keep up stumping up cash for security deposits as well as its admin costs, and it will need to keep on raising capital while trying to convince the market that it is going to be profitable until the time that the market turns and we will be back to the beginning of this year.
SP movement is the key to 'investing' in ZIP. As an underlying investment it is only as good as its SP
