The way I am looking at this is that CYC is a ticking timebomb and hedging against CT:VQ not getting to market.
If and once CT:VQ gets to market, nuclear medicine will be obsolete. CT:VQ has greater functionality and will be more widely accessible for patients. It is 'in theory' a faster, more efficacious and safer test compared to nuclear medicine.
You could hedge and have downside protection with CYC in the immediacy but I don't think we have backed the wrong horse.
It's essentially comparing salt water to the first ever antiseptic before antiseptic was invented.
When was the last time you cleaned ur hands with antiseptic? cavemen used to do it all the time...
