This is exactly the situation proposed as the ‘fall back’ envisaged if there was inadequate progress was made ( as now arrived at presumably ). Reported results probably impinge on research at more than one BP and there would be possible move to pay for either IP that is potentially valuable OR to prevent a competitors advancement in that field. There is also the other compounds the we know nothing about. If so what is the IP worth? Certainly more than the current share price. 5c? 10c? More?
