Could have merit. ZIP would know that this insane over valued US market cannot run forever, yet it is being left behind by a lack of capital and much larger competitors. It could sell its US business, maintain its ANZ business unencumbered, wait for the ANZ economies to recover, watch the US economy capsize and hold a strong position.
If it keeps trying to keep punching above its weight there is enormous risk that the US economy blows on Trump's watch and that could be the end of ZIP.
