i spoke to my broker today and he said his brokerage firm has been buying the stock for the firm's partners. Apparently the convertible notes recently converted at 8.3 cents were owned by a broker.

He organnised for me to place a call with Matthew Battrick =SUR's MD. Just got off the phone to Matt, very sincere guy. Matt said that he and the retiring chairman had visited the thai site at least half a dozen times over the last three years and were both very confident and that is why he and the chairman had bought even more shares. Matt said that the first and second drills have a very, very good chance of stirking oil (given the drills are right next to the shell successful well) and it will all come down to flow rate/bopd = overall successful chance of 50%!!

going to talk to wife tonight about topping up again at low 8's as this week will be last chance at these prices!
