A point some are missing in buy backs is that although $50 mil may seem a minimal amount
to affect share holder returns much of what they are buying is 'trading' stock. If you were to take long term holders (such as many on HC) out of the equation then the percentage numbers become far more significant. Apart from sending a warning to shorters and such like that this stock is highly undervalued it also gives confidence to investors rather than traders that the medium to long term prospects look encouraging.
