kengaikl when you have got a government and a media that applauds a strong aussie dollar as a grand achievement we have got problems. A strong dollar does not make for a strong country. Until the labor government shows some fiscal responsibility and the reserve bank stop using interest rates as a way to stop start the economy you will not see the asx perform as well as the US market. Lets hope these drongos wake up to themselves real soon and the Aussie $ gets back to more realistic levels around the mid 80 cent mark. It is only then that Australian resource companies will start to show there true worth. In the mean time it is a good time to buy stocks in the US as with the strong dollar these US stocks are good value
