No im not saying you need announcements to predict anything. But what does the chart say, when there is unknown information within the company operations that is good or bad? If you chart something...and say yeah the bands and the fib and the whatever, trend is going down, retesting lower highs, market is exhausted buying...but a company comes out with a huge positive advance. The chart means nothing then. The same for the other way around...
