As you know, the Adelaide Zoo has a bamboo plantation at Bolivar, so maybe, RNU can grow some on their property to supply, Xing Qiu and Yi Lan when they arrive next Sunday.
Interestingly, no African country receives pandas as a gift from China. I wonder why? Is it because, in my opinion, even the Chinese don't think that they have the structures and systems in place that is needed to safeguard and protect them in the short to long term. Similar to what international investors are discovering with their hard-earned money.
The panda exchange is very welcome and full of mutual respect.
