HT1,
All good; to gain the benefit of the share price increase after a buy back I would need to sell some shares. As I do not plan to sell the shares for some years I miss out on the interest that the cash could generate after distribution as a dividend. This must be countered by taxation considerations. So; I do not have direct access to the 'cash' if there is a buy back and I do not sell any shares. But I would if it was distributed as a dividend.
It was news to me that Co directors will probably distribute cash reserves in the case of a hostile takeover attempt; I am always learning something. This insight also seems to lessen any risks associated with increasing OZL cash reserves. Thank you. HC42
