Just heard a HIA spokesperson on the radio who more or less said everything will be RS next year except house prices which should move sideways for a few years;he is obviously in denial bigtime. I still monitor the central area of Wagga and nothing is selling at auction and for sale signs are popping up all over the place. At a leading agents cvhrissy drinks party the talk was all about how nothing wqs selling! I know one buyer who made an offer on two houses within this past 3 weeks pre auction and they were knocked back; there were no bids at auction on either property and now they are for sale,my how things have changed in a short period of time.
Soon the agents will be brainwashing and twisting vendors arms to drop prices as their pay packets get squeezed. Also now there are 3 local agents advertising on telly where 6 months ago there were none.
