I had to laugh at the lack of understanding in the comment you replied to. my neighbour who has diabetes has feet that are so swollen due to lymphoedema, they look like footballs. She lost her balance and toppled over the other day and wouldn't let me help her up as she thought I'd injure my back. she had to call the ambos who have a special hoist to get her up. her medicated diabetes is so bad she couldn't get her self up off the floor. unfortunately, she's definitely a candidate for dfu. It'd just take one sore and she'd be in trouble. she can't walk far as it is and relies upon a wheelchair and I reckon if they had to amputate due to dfu she wouldn't survive. she's well off and couldn't afford cynata's therapies if it was on the market. which could mean the difference between life and death IMO.
