Sunstone's future is at a critical point right now i.e. it needs to find a significant JV partner to be able to convert "reserves in the ground" into something of value in their share price. A significant portion of their resource is "Inferred" and it's going to take a lot of money and focus to convert this into an asset that can be mined. With issued shares of over 5 billion and a Share Price of $0.007 they won be able to fund much more exploration through issuing stock. STM have 0.645billion of share options at 0.75cent which could raise $4.8M in cash in the near future, but that maybe the last injection of cash from issuing shares.
Finding the right JV partner is critical for STM's future IMO, but such a significant Resource will attract a good JV partner. I also think STM's share price will remain static until a JV partner is announced. I'm investing on STM finding a suitable JV partner.
But hang on if a suitable JV partner is announced!! All IMO.
