Good point
You have to be very patient with ESG
I am beginning to think that ESG is from the time when wool was so expensive that you would strip the fleece off carcasses in the paddock
A 1960s stock
Our colleague poster, Buddy, first raised the Horse and Jockey metaphor
The Horse is well bred but the Jockey need to be more attuned to the needs of the Owners
Getting back to your Dog metaphor - a visit to the Vet could help , some injection of Cartrophen for the joints to loosen them up , maybe some of that flea lotion to stop the scratching
All in all I wouldnt call ESG a Dog but I do agree that some Masterful leadership is needed so the Owners get their rewards for 10 years of risk
Here is a good test for you that I can vouch for
If you see a car with ESG in its numberplate what do you feel ? Do you feel comfortable ? Does it trigger some reaction?
Try making ESG mean something that is mentally soothing and soporific. This trick has been used by other posters here. When you see ESG in numberplates or imbedded in words or phrases think of the most expensive suburb in your home town or a cool car you would like to own or lying on the beach.
Dont let ESG get to you - You have a firm grip on it for a reason. Try to recall why you first bought it and grip it even tighter as life quickly passes us by so we need to savour every moment.
Cheers
