I'm surprised you're not more used to this sort of thing then - it is far from unusual! It's just business mate - No fuss, guaranteed raise, no hassle with wondering if they are going to fill the stocking or not, and the ongoing drag on the share price until it's finalized. This way, they have secured the funds and the rest of the market now knows they can't buy in for 6c. This company is +60% owned by instos - that's just how it is in this pond.
Buy your heart out later this week whilst we're still in the sixes. Even 6.7c is only a 11% premium to the CR - although I don't expect it to stay there for too long.
